SPANISH DUAL LANGUAGE IS COMING TO JB THIS 2012-13 SCHOOL YEAR!!! We will be having a Spanish Dual Language Program here at JB as of the new 2012-13 school year! Applications are available on the website and in our Attendance Office (Room 118). Permits will be available on a limited basis. If interested, please submit application ASAP!

Supplemental Educational Services (SES) FREE TUTORING Program FYI...The SES FREE TUTORING Program has been pushed back by the District this year. Brochures will be mailed home on Sept. 30 and tutoring services will be provided to eligible students in November. We will be providing a workshop here at JB sometime in October.

School Site Council (SSC) Meeting - Friday, May 25, 2012 The next SSC meeting will be held on Friday, May 25th at 2:00 PM in Room 109. If you are on the council, please be sure to attend.

Shakey's Night Fundraiser - Friday, May 25, 2012 Join us for a night of good food and fun at Shakey's on Santa Montica and Orange (one block west of Highland) on Friday, May 25th from 5:00-8:00 PM. A percentage of the sales will be coming to our school to fund our 3rd Annual Academic Pentathlon. Hope to see all of you there!

After-School Intervention Program Our After-School Intervention Program will begin Wednesday, March 14, 2012. If your child received an application last week for ELA or Math Intervention, please take advantage of this great opportunity. Classes will be held Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-4:00 PM.
