Meal applications or eligibility letters (for students already approved for the 2010-2011 school year) will be mailed during the month of August to all LAUSD students. Please take the time to fill it out and mail it back at your earliest convenience.

Orientation for New Students and Parents for 2010 - 2011
Orientation for new students and parents will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 9 am and 5 pm in the school auditorium. Uniform sale on August 26, 2010 in the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR). Click here for enrollment information.

The 2010 JB t-shirt and hooded sweatshirt are now on sale at the student store! Prices are $8 for the t-shirt, $18 for the sweatshirt, but will increase to $10 for the t-shirt and $20 for the sweatshirt on Wednesday, March 17th.

John Burroughs Middle School Celebrates Academic Performance Index (API) Score of 811! Go Bears!
Congratulations to all our students and teachers! We thank our parents for all their support. JB is now in the 800 club! We made a 20 point increase from last year and we rightfully celebrate our high achievement and success. We are deeply proud of our students, and staff who tirelessly encourage student learning.
