Students are expected to attend all classes unless they are absent for valid reasons. A student returning from an absence must bring a note signed by a parent/guardian stating the child’s name, dates of absence, and the reason for the absence. The note is taken to the Grade Center BEFORE Guidance Room begins, on the day the student returns to school. The Grade Center Office is open at 7:30 a.m. to readmit students. A permit to re-enter will be issued, must be carried in all missed classes and must be signed by the appropriate teachers. Those who return from absences should arrive at school in time to be readmitted before school begins. If a student fails to bring a note to clear his absence, he is given an unverified absence. A student absent for five (5) days or more days due to illness must have a note from a doctor.
